This year we are excited to announce one of our guest speakers at the Prime User Conference will be Danny McShee, Partner at Kennedys Law LLP. Danny specialises in the conduct of health and safety and environment matters across all industries. His experience includes high profile incidents such as the rail accidents at Southall, Ladbroke Grove, Hatfield and Potters Bar. He represented Merlin in relation to investigations following the Smiler incident at Alton Towers and recently represented Pret a Manger at the inquest of Natasha Laperouse. Danny is recognised as a Star Individual for Health & Safety (UK-wide) by Chambers UK and a Leading Individual for Health and Safety (London) by The Legal 500 UK.
We are delighted that Danny has agreed to talk at our conference, where he will identify cases involving contractors, and pull out the relevant failings and meritorious actions by the defendant. He will also look at fine levels in the most high profile cases, in line with the now not so new sentencing guidelines.
We are also pleased to say that one of our larger retail customers have agreed to talk about how they make data driven decisions in their business to reduce risk. This will show how they have used Prime to collect information to allow them to analyse in more detail why accidents occur, which in turn influences decisions on process change.
During the conference we will be discussing new features and enhancements in Prime and the upcoming work we will be focusing on during 2019.
There will be plenty of time to network and chat to other users and the Prime team.
