On 22 November 2018 we hosted the annual Prime User Conference at The Birmingham Conference & Events Centre.
We were delighted to host Marta Tomlinson, Solicitor from Kennedys Law LLP, who spoke about recent court cases involving contractors and the relevant failings and meritorious actions of the defendant and what we can learn from them.
We also welcomed members of the Health and Safety team from one of our larger retail customers who spoke about their Health and Safety journey and how they make data driven decisions in their business to reduce risk. This showed how they have used Prime to collect information to allow them to analyse in more detail why accidents occur, which in turn influences decisions on process change.
During the conference we also discussed new features and enhancements in Prime and the upcoming work we will be focusing on during 2019, including the new Incident Reporting offline application.
And after all of that there was still time to network and chat to other users and the Prime team! In fact, one of the key points that came out of the Prime User Conference was the importance of sharing information and processes in pursuit of best practice. A common request on the User Conference feedback forms was for Prime to try to bring customers together from the same sector to share information and initiatives and discuss what’s worked and what hasn’t worked with the overall aim of improving Health and Safety standards across the board.
With that in mind we are busy planning various events for 2019 including Roadshows, Workshops, site visits and of course the annual Prime User Conference. If you would like to register your interest for future Prime events please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be in touch.
